Praise God for Jonathon Powell
God led Jonathon Powell to join us on 1 September and has been a blessing ever since. He came from our home church in Carrollton, OH to help us for three months. He joined us as very needy time in our ministry. Since he came, we have seen the church grow alot. Many men have stepped up to help us with the work that he was doing, but we will still greatly miss him. We had a special tea for him tonight at the church, and there was not too many dry eyes as we said our goodbyes to him. He will leave a big void in the work. Please be in prayer for him as he travels back early tomorrow.
Volunteer!
I am so excited about all of the opportunities for you to volunteer and get involved in our church. From the very beginning, volunteers have been so crucial to our church, and we want you to know that we need your help.
There is no way for us to meet all the needs of the people without your help, so we are asking you to pray about where God wants you to fit in and get involved. Everyone has a gift, a talent, and ability that they can use for the honour and glory of God. As you get involved, you will find that your faith will grow and your life will have a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
